2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account details: name, email, company, phone
• Guard and employee records: names, contact info, certifications, availability
• Site and client information
• Incident reports, tour logs, operational records
• Billing information (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers)

Information collected automatically

• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
• GPS location during guard shifts (with consent)
• Session and usage data

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the GuardArra platform
• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Enable all platform features (scheduling, tours, incidents, GPS, messaging)
• Send operational notifications and alerts
• Process billing and subscriptions
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the platform through anonymized analysis
• Power AI features (incident report drafting, scheduling assistance, AI insights, and in-app AI support) by processing relevant account content through our AI sub-processor solely to generate results for you. This content is not used to train AI models. See our Sub-Processor List.
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. SMS & Text Messaging

GuardArra offers an optional text-messaging (SMS) program so that security personnel can receive timely operational and safety communications related to their work.

Program description

GuardArra and the security companies that use our platform may send messages such as shift assignments and changes, schedule reminders, welfare check-in requests, tour and incident alerts, and account or service notifications. Message frequency varies based on operational activity.

Consent

Individuals provide their mobile number and consent to receive these messages when they are onboarded into the GuardArra platform by their employer, or when they otherwise opt in. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment, and is not required to use the platform for any other purpose.

Rates, help, and opt-out

• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact support@guardarra.com.
• Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation message and no further text messages.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information you provide for the purpose of receiving text messages — including your mobile phone number and your opt-in consent — will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, and are excluded from every other category of information sharing described in this policy. Mobile numbers are shared only with our messaging sub-processor strictly to deliver the messages you have requested.

5. Data Sharing

• Your clients: Client portal users see their site data only
• Service providers: See our Sub-Processor List
• Legal requirements: When required by law or court order
• Business transfers: Subject to same privacy commitments

6. Security

AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, TOTP 2FA, RBAC, full audit logging, daily encrypted backups. See our Security page for full details.

7. Retention

Data retained for subscription duration plus 30 days post-cancellation, then permanently deleted. Full export provided on request before deletion.

8. Your Rights

You may access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact privacy@guardarra.com. Additional rights by jurisdiction:

GuardArra is not directed at children under 13. Contact privacy@guardarra.com if you believe a child's data has been submitted.

Material changes communicated 14 days before taking effect.
